Research

The Division of Microbiology conducts basic infectious disease research using nonhuman primate models of human disease with an emphasis on emerging infectious diseases, infectious disease aerobiology, HIV/SIV, Zika Virus, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Simian Varicella Virus (SVV), and Select Agent Research/research requiring high levels of biocontainment.
