Research
Our research program seeks to dissect the complex dynamics of host-virus interactions with a particular focus on the function of innate immune responses. We examine these host-virus interactions at the molecular, single-cell, and whole-system levels to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the innate immune system responds to viral infection. Our long-term goal is to develop clinically meaningful mechanism-based diagnostic, vaccines, and treatment strategies for vaccines and treatments for illnesses that have a significant impact on human health.
