The Tuberculosis Research Performance Core is housed within the Regional Biosafety Laboratory.
The mission of the Tuberculosis Research Performance Core is to assist investigators who seek to conduct basic, translational, and applied research of TB infection and disease prevention.
The Tuberculosis Research Performance Core is dedicated to supporting the research needs of investigators by providing full or partial support for researchers seeking to perform tuberculosis studies. This Core provides services for culture and propagation, as well as sample preparation and processing, and its standard operating procedures have been thoroughly tested to ensure consistent practices and study designs. The goal of the core is to provide a model of tuberculosis infection that undergoes rigorous quality assurance to ensure reproducibility of all TB related activities.
